Gemeinsam mit Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) möchten wir euch herzlich zur Teilnahme an unserer Webinarreihe GENDER AND HEALTH einladen, die ab dem 27. Januar 2022 startet. Da UAEM international agiert werden die Veranstaltungen auf Englisch stattfinden.
We are happy to announce the launch of our webinar series on the intersection of Gender and Health. We at Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) and Feministische Medizin e.V. (Femmed*) have worked tirelessly to explore the depths and intricacies of gender health and medicine with you. We are all the more excited to take you on a journey of a series of 4 webinars that will give you an insight into gender identities and medicine. We think that this topic is still largely neglected, if not absent, in the curricula of most medical schools. We want to encourage you to join us in our attempt to do better as future healthcare and public health professionals by making medicine more representative. We will open this series with a first session on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Challenges in Healthcare with Dr. Valia Kalaitzi on Thursday, January 27th at 7pm CET, who will guide current and future healthcare workers through the ever-changing landscape of these challenges/matters.
